Hello and welcome!

My name is Tony Hayes AKA Bogwoppet. I was born in 1955 which makes me a fairly old codger but I'm young at heart and love creating art and viewing the work of other like-minded artists.

I've spent much of my life within the photographic trade and have worked in most areas of the profession including; weddings, studio, teaching, judging, industrial, retail and for a short time I worked in the motion picture industry. I also owned my own camera shop for almost twenty years but due to ill health I've had to give up work.
I am married with three grown up children and I'm a granddad too with two beautiful granddaughters; Sadie and Faith and I love them to bits.

Thank you for your interest.

Tony Hayes

Amazing skill and style. You present your macabre vision without blinking. Wondrously dark works.

So, I pull my coat back and real slow (no reason to start it up yet) I rest my hand by the Smith. Then I give them that cold smile and in the low, soft killing voice I say, "Gentlemen, I'm your worst nightmare. A gunfighter with a rendering station"

Just arrived here. I'm lucky I did: your work is phenomenal. I'm very taken with "Demon" mostly because of the expression, but my favorite is "Something Is Out There." The intensity of the innocence is...well, astounding. And EA Poe would be quite pleased, I think, with "End of Story." I hope you return to these type of human images; the more mechanistic works are wonderful but not really my thing.

hello Tony :)
I must say i LOVE your work, all of your pictures are stunning :D
i have a question to ask you, can i use some of your pictures as backgrounds for mine? If you say yes, i will credit you in all of them, its just that they capture the atmosphere of what i want perfectly. If you want to know what im using them for, have you ever heard of Tomb raider? its a game, and it has a real time posing program called XNA that allows me to make my own renders for it. Ive currently been aksed to make renders esspecially for a special TR project going on, but im having trouble finding good backgrounds for my pictures. here is a sample of my work ;)
